I Gave Myself 1 Minute to Pick Products I’d Repurchase Next! #GreenBBloggers

When I received an invitation to join a #greenbbloggers collaboration post, I freaked out a bit at the idea of compiling and sharing my ‘Repurchase List’. With so many products I’m loving now, I had to force myself to shrink the list down to a chosen few or I’ll end up with a long, boring grocery list even I will be too lazy to write about.

So what did I do? I grabbed my alarm clock, set it to 1 minute and listed any product I’m loving that came to mind within the time limit.

Being a congenital crammer, that’s the only way I could force my brain to work fast. What could have been a kilometric list ended up with just seven products. Some were expected (same old, same old) although there were a few surprises even for me.

My Current Repurchase List

1) Ethic Bioskin Phyto Eclat - It’s been on my repurchase list for weeks now because I’m still using up other toners I have. I hate throwing away products. But being forced to try and use up many other toners makes me realize even more how much I love this product. [Ethic Bioskin Review]

2) Mekhala Black Rice Body Lotion - It’s so light yet silky, perfect for the humid Singapore weather. [find it here]

3) Sante Eyebrow Pencil - This definitely came as a surprise. I hated this eyebrow pencil initially because I thought it was too dark and chalky. I later realized that not only is it soft and smooth to apply, it’s also suitable to the color of my brows. I want to buy another one for back-up. [find it here]

4) Rhassoul Clay - I’ve always loved rhassoul clay. It’s my favorite because it’s good in detoxifying but it’s not as drying as most types of clay. I can use it on my hair, on my body and in many of my homemade facial masks. [find it here]

5) MVO Everyday Sheer Coverage - To flaunt the current sudden glory of my skin (who knows until when it’ll stay that way, right?), I decided to ditch the heavier Moisturizing Face Screen temporarily and use the lighter Everyday Sheer Coverage instead. Only thing that’s really stopping me is that this tends to ‘ball up’. [MVO Anti-aging Serum Review - old version of Sheer Coverage]

6) Skin Apotheke Ayuverdic Amla Hair Oil (Etsy) - I have really thin and fine hair and most hair oils leave me looking like Professor Snape. For my hair type, a little of this oil goes a long way. I apply it to my hair ends 15 mins before I wash my hair in the morning. [find it here]

7) Khaokho Soap Nut Conditioner - This is another surprise because I’ve been using it only for about a week. I bought this from Bangkok so I have no idea how long it’ll be until I see this product again. It makes my hair shiny without weighing it down and triggering my dandruff. New love!

Any product you’re currently loving, too?

Which one from the list do you want me to do a full review of?

This collaboration post was organized by the sweet Brianna. Please check out her master link list to read the ‘Repurchase’ list of other #greenbbloggers.

Note: I think I might have gotten the topic wrong. It seems we were supposed to write all the products we love and are likely to repurchase. However, my list above only consists of empties or almost all-used-up products I plan to repurchase soon. Ooops!

Great choices! I love the way you set your alarm clock lol, your posts always cheer me up! I haven’t actually heard of any of these apart from Rhassoul Clay, and I love that! Recently just started adding them to my soaps too! xx

Haha, I needed the alarm clock and I really used it! I wanted to use my phone but it kept getting interrupted because of the text messages so I grabbed the clock.

It gets really muddy in the toilet when I use rhassoul clay (I sometimes blend it with my liquid body wash) but it leaves my skin feeling ‘clean’. Looking forward to your shop!

    • http://www.ecobeautysecrets.com Vivi

It is! I love that brand. Their rejuvenating eye creme is worth checking out too.
Ria, the lady behind Skin Apotheke is super amazing and very helpful. :)

I spent far too long mulling over my choices, I love that you only gave yourself a minute to choose these! I really want to try rhassoul clay…I keep hearing great things about it. Plus, there are so many luxury skincare lines that use it as a key ingredient, I’m thinking it must be pretty amazing :)

I read your post last night and I was amazed at the number of products! Actually, that’s when I found out I got the ‘instructions’ wrong… *scratches head* But I love your selection! I always find out new and interesting products (and indie brands!) from your blog. It gives me a direction on what products I should check out next instead of shopping all over the place which is very ‘me’ :D

You should check out rhassoul clay! It’s super multi-purpose.

    • http://www.ecobeautysecrets.com Vivi

Awww, thanks Mary! :) I think Skin Apotheke products are definitely worth a try. I didn’t see it on any of the repurchase lists (or I must have missed it because I also read so many, too, all I can remember are captcha numbers).

Love your picks! The MVO tinted moisturizer is wonderful.

    • http://www.ecobeautysecrets.com Vivi

Thanks, Britanie! Yup, you also included it in your ‘best tinted moisturizer’ posts, I think.

When will you share your bangkok haul? :)

I saw one of the products above and it looks interesting. I tried to google but their website is in Thai although I switched to english.

    • http://www.ecobeautysecrets.com Vivi

Haha, I’m not sure yet. I owe lots of people too many posts. There’s a long weekend coming up, though so I might be able to prepare a couple of posts…. but please don’t take my word for it. I might also just sleep the hours away! :D

Yeah, I wanted to link to their website but I figured there was not point since it’s all in thai.

lovely post, great choices vivi..am also loving Ethic Bioskin Phyto Eclat ..thanks to you..can you review MVO Everyday Sheer Coverage?Skin Apotheke eye cream is on my wish list ,am looking something effective for dark circles and puffy eyes

    • http://www.ecobeautysecrets.com Vivi

Hi Nami, I’m so glad the phyto eclat is working for you!

I miss it! I’m currently using Jurlique and although it brightens my skin, I think it gives me pimples and causes me rashes.

The skin Apotheke creme doesn’t really remove dark circles but I like how hydrating it is. It’s also much cheaper compared to other products of the same quality.

  • Jenny

Great list! I’ve never heard of any of these brands but will have a look into them, hopefully they will be avaialble in the UK :-) xx

Hi Aleena, thank you for the offer. That’s so nice of you!

Maybe once my conditioners run out, I might need your help. I can pay you to buy for me. I still have 1 1/2 bottles left because I bought a LOT during my last Bangkok visit. :D
